Der todkranke Doge sehnt die Zeiten als Kosar zurück und träumt von seinen Tagen auf dem Meer, als er auf Fiesco trifft. Zur selben Zeit heiraten Amelia und Gabriele. (Carlo Guelfi als Simone)

The fatally ill doge longs back to his times as cosar and dreams of the days he was sailing the sea, when he meets Fiesco. At the same time Amelia and Gabriele celebrate their wedding. (Carlo Guelfi as Simone) 

Wenn Simone Fiesco verrät, daß Amelia seine Enkeltochter ist, vergibt dieser dem sterbenden Doge am Ende doch noch. (Giacomo Prestia als Fiesco und Alexandru Agache als Simone)
